Privacy
What we collect, which is very little.
The domain checker
The checker runs entirely in your browser. When you enter a domain, your browser queries public DNS directly through Cloudflare's resolver, falling back to Google's if that fails. The domain you type is never sent to our servers, never logged by us, and never stored. Those resolvers have their own privacy policies covering the DNS queries they receive.
Everything the checker reads is public DNS data — the same records any mail server in the world can read about your domain.
The enquiry form
What you type into the contact form is emailed to us and nowhere else. We use it to reply to you and to run the review you asked for. It isn't added to a mailing list, sold, or shared with anyone. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Your IP address is briefly held in memory to limit repeated submissions from the same source. It isn't written to a database and doesn't survive a server restart.
Analytics and tracking
No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics scripts, no cookies set by this site. Fonts are served from this domain rather than a font CDN, so loading a page doesn't announce your visit to anyone else.
During a review
The audit is run from outside your systems using public DNS. We don't need access to your mailbox, your server, or your DNS panel. If you ask us to make changes for you, that happens on a call with you driving, or with access you grant and revoke afterwards. Findings about your domain aren't published or shared as examples without your written say-so.
Asking about any of this
Email hello@notthejunkfolder.com and a person will answer.
